A Sneak Peak of Things to Come for LINCOLN
Published Tuesday, 23 August, 2011 by Blog Admin. Categories: News.
When LINCOLN's parent company, Ford first announced that they would be revamping the LINCOLN brand experience for customers, we here at Spradley Barr of Greeley were a bit skeptical. What more could Ford really have to offer customers that isn't already featured in their new models? As it turns out, there is quite a bit that Ford and LINCOLN have left up their sleeves, and they're getting closer each day to implementing them.
Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of global product development, assures us that he is happy with the direction that LINCOLN has taken recently. He says that LINCOLN is "heading in the right direction, but needs to take another step."1
And what is the next step exactly? Now that Ford has assigned more than 100 employees to focus on the development of new LINCOLN models, we've been given some insight as to what features and improvements we could be seeing.
Future LINCOLN models features include:
- Push-button shifting controls: Opens up the interior by removing the shifting column- Fully retractable, all-glass roofs: Opens up the interior, quite literally
- Continuously controlled damping: Allows drivers to select a driving mode suited to their needs
- All Wheel Drive: Available in every single model that is offered
Currently, all wheel drive is offered in nearly every LINCOLN model, except for the LINCOLN Town Car. These improvements are looking like they'll change the way we look at LICOLN, once again. What models would you be most excited to see these features implemented in? Maybe the LINCOLN MKS? Or, the LINCOLN MKT perhaps? Let us know, we'd love to hear your comments!
Spradley Barr of Greeley, located at 4901 29th St Greeley, CO 80634 is excited to see where LINCOLN goes next.
