Ford recently hosted the Ford Driving Skills for Life contest, inviting teen songwriters from across the country t o submit an original song focused on the perils of distracted driving. Triumphing their competition with 520,000 public votes and the official nod of approval by Shawn Wilson, President of Usher's New Look Foundation, five teens have been named winners.

Lincoln To Get Inflatable Seat Belts

LINCOLN cars are above all in luxury, performance and safety. Now, these American made vehicles are going to be even safer. Upcoming rides, like the LINCOLN MKS, will have a new inflatable seat belt option.

 

"This advanced restraint system is designed to help reduce head, neck, and chest injuries for rear-seat passengers, often children, and older passengers who can be more vulnerable to such injuries," said Sue Cischke, Ford group vice president of Sustainability, Environment and Safety Engineering.1
